At this year’s Annual Meeting we will use a public health lens to:

• Develop a collective understanding of holistic and effective responses to, and prevention of sexual and domestic violence;

• Increase ways that domestic and sexual violence are addressed alongside other community health issues; and

• Provide guidance for the S/DV Commission to ensure we are leading projects in multiple areas

You will learn about the goals of public health and how that lens can be used to address social issues, particularly sexual and domestic violence. You will gain or deepen your understanding of the social determinants of health, and have an opportunity to collaborate with other community leaders to identify risk and protective factors in our community.
