DV Offender Intervention Training


In order to increase availability, quality, and accessibility of DV intervention treatment in Whatcom County and surrounding communities, the DV Commission will be hosting 30 hours of DV intervention treatment classroom training as required under Washington Administrative Code 388-60B.

NOTE: Participants interested in the training should consult WAC 388-60B for the full requirements to be a certified DV intervention treatment provider.

Participants are required to:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field; or have equivalent experience.

  • Have completed 30 hours of domestic violence victim services training.

  • Consult WAC 388-60B for the full list of requirements that must be fulfilled to be a certified DV Offender Intervention provider in Washington State.

  • November 16

  • December 7

  • December 14


  • Coffee, tea, water, and light snacks provided

  • Participants will get lunch on their own
